The dive and sail liveaboard Cuan Law is designed with dual purposes: a luxury dive liveaboard and as a comfortable and stable sailboat in one of the best sailing destinations. It is a 105 ft. long and 40 ft. wide sailing trimaran. It’s spacious top sundeck features lounge pads and hammocks to relax in. When under sail, you’ll be able to help the crew set the huge sails if you want.
The vessel has 10 cabins which can be configured as a queen or two twin beds. Each cabin has a private en-suite bathroom with toilets and showers. Each cabin has outside views of the ocean. There is plenty of storage space with drawers, shelf and closet in each room too.
The expansive main salon is the social hub of the ship with chairs, sofas, tables, and a large bar. The salon has a library with magazines, cards, and board games. Discover coolers with beer, wine and juices around the base of the mast in the salon.
In addition to the large sundeck and main salon, enjoy the amenities of the large shaded alfresco deck. During the day you’ll gather here for briefings and preparation for activities. At mealtime this aft deck becomes the dinning terrace.
Dining aboard the Cuan Law is truly an experience. The Chef prepares wonderfully creative meals that continuously rate as one of the high points of the trip. Satisfying breakfast and lunch menus fuel you for the activities of the day. A fully appointed bar and hors d’ourves preclude dinner with fine dining and wine service nightly.
The BVIs have over 100 dive sites, giving divers a wide range of choices. The RMS Rhone and the Chikuzen are well-known wrecks but there are many others ready to be explored. The newest wreck is the Kodiak Queen, a former World War II U.S. Navy vessel once known as the YO-44. It has the distinction of being one of the ships to survive Pearl Harbor. The YO wreck to reef project seeks to conserve and rehabilitate marine life while advancing marine science.
Besides wrecks there are numerous reefs to investigate. The sheer size of the region makes for a great variety of underwater scenery and conditions at the many dive sites. Some sites have coral gardens with lobsters and eels, or some are made of natural grottos and archways attacting a variety of fish life, while others feature stunning topography washed in currents which bring in large schools of fish.
While the BVIs offer exceptional diving, visitors have just as many activities to consider topside. Every island has it’s own unique personality. They are yours to discover.
