PADI AOW Course Details
Whether you just finished your PADI Open Water certification, have a beginning level diving certification from another agency or you have hundreds of logged dives. PADI’s Advanced Open Water Course gives you the confidence, skills and experience to take your diving to new levels of excitement! To complete the Advanced Open Water Course you will need to complete 5 additional training dives. Check the list below.
You prepare for the course by pre-reading the 5 appropriate sections of the Adventures in Diving manual and complete the knowledge reviews in the comfort of your home. You then meet your instructor for a brief review of the knowledge reviews and then into the water to complete the water skills. It is an exciting way to gain more diving experience and to earn the PADI Advanced Open Water certification. That’s all there is to it. What are you waiting for? The Advanced Open Water Course is offered every time The Dive Shop goes to Mexico.

Your completed Advanced Open Water dives may be credited towards the first dive of the related specialty. This means you are actually moving towards two certifications with each AOW training dive! What a quick and simple way to gain more diving knowledge while exposing yourself to new diving experiences.

The year is defined by the date of the last PADI instructional class you enrolled. Everyone is required to submit this form.
